Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Bruno Lage has been asked about the possibility of recalling Dion Sanderson from Birmingham City. Sanderson signed on loan for Blues in the summer and the Wednesfield youngster has made 11 appearances for the club.
Bruno Lage said: “We are thinking of everything, so if we need to, for sure in January we’ll make our decision. The club will try to do what’s best for the player because they are happy at the moment, they are playing but also we need to decide the best for the club so it will be our decision – it will be the best for the player and the best for the club.”
Sanderson, who spent last season on loan at League One Sunderland, has impressed Bowyer during his time at St Andrew’s.
Lee Bowyer said: “I don’t see why Wolves would call him back when he is settled here, playing, doing well, improving. I think it’s a good challenge for him to be at this club.”
Sanderson has played 90 minutes in each of Blues’ last couple of games, starring in a goalless draw with Coventry City last time out.
