Bruno Lage is keeping his Raul Jimenez card close to his chest after Wolverhampton Wanderers’ number nine returned from another international jaunt with Mexico.
Bruno Lage said: “We don’t have too many players so I cannot put anyone under risk for a game. Raul arrived yesterday afternoon so he had time to rest and recover. He trained today, so now we’re going to take the best decision for tomorrow.”
Meanwhile, Marcal is back in contention for Wolves after missing the last three games due to injury. The Brazilian defender started Wolves’ first eight Premier League games under Lage before being replaced by Rayan Ait-Nouri for the match against Leeds United. Lage hoped to have Marcal back after the international break and the 32-year-old left-sider has returned to training.
Bruno Lage added: “He’s started training – him and Bruno Jordao. He (Marcal) can be involved in the game, but for the moment I trust Rayan so we will start Rayan.”
