Everton are concerned Tom Davies could face a spell on the sidelines with a knee injury.
Rafa Benitez said: “He had a knock during the game and we assessed him after the game. He has a little problem with his knee so he is another player who is not available at the moment. It will not be too serious but he can not play at the moment.”
Rafa Benitez has confirmed that Davies will miss the trip to Manchester City on Sunday after picking up the problem in the 0-0 draw with Spurs before the international break. Benitez had played down the injury when asked about Davies’ fitness, on Friday, but it is believed that Everton are planning to be without the Academy product for the next few games.
