Chelsea will be aiming to win their sixth Premier League crown this season and, if the first 11 games are anything to go by, they are heading in the right direction. Thomas Tuchel currently has his squad sitting at the summit of the top-flight table, three points ahead of Manchester City and West Ham, as the German looks to add another piece of silverware to his collection. But Callum Hudson-Odoi is yet to get carried away, despite the impressive start. The 2021-22 campaign is likely to bring with it the tightest title challenge seen in years, with both Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp eager to get their hands on the crown again.
Callum Hudson Odoi said: “We started really well and I think it’s good to have momentum and we’ve had good momentum going into every game. We’ve had the right mentality for every game that we’ve gone into and we’ve always wanted to win every game. We’ve prepared well, we’ve come up with the right mindset and the determination to go out there and play. I think the position that we’re in now is a very good one but we have to maintain it and stay consistent to stay at the top and try and win the Premier League. We know what we need to do.”
Hudson-Odoi has been eager to grasp first-team opportunities when they have come his way this season, starting their last three Premier League games as well as their Champions League clash in Malmo.
