Jack Grealish has admitted Joao Cancelo has surprised him more than any other Manchester City player since joining the club in the summer. Asked which of the City squad has surprised him the most,
Jack Grealish replied: “Do you know who I’d actually say? Joao. I just think he’s a joke, you know, he is so good. Technically, when they are playing one touch, two touches, he is just a joke, and then he can shoot right foot, left foot from anywhere.”
Grealish also gave his first impressions on linking up with his favourite player – as Foden revealed – De Bruyne. Asked whether working with the Belgian has lived up to his expectations,
Jack Grealish said: “Yeah, of course, but to be fair I didn’t actually train with him that much, but obviously when you train with him for little bits and stuff, you just see how talented he actually is.”
On what he hopes to achieve with the club,
Jack Grealish added: “I want to obviously show them a lot. I’ve said I want to come here to win trophies, and try and win a trophy that this club hasn’t won before. I think everyone knows what that trophy is.”
