Few young players have impressed more than Conor Gallagher in the Premier League this season. On loan at Crystal Palace, the Chelsea academy graduate is showing his worth under Patrick Vieira. The Eagles sit a healthy 10th in the Premier League despite a relatively slow start and having lost just two games out of 11, Vieira’s side are proving to be a tough team to beat.
Connor Gallagher said: “My dream is to play for Chelsea. It’s the club I’ve loved since I was a little boy. I’m willing to do whatever I can, to work as hard as possible just to achieve that. It’ll make my family so proud, It’ll make me proud of myself so I’m looking forward to working hard and seeing if I can achieve that.”
When asked what sort of player he is in another interview, Gallagher told Chelsea fans what he offers as a teammate.
Connor Gallagher said: “Well, I say a team player, hard-working and good desire.”
Thomas Tuchel can expect to nurture another fine talent at Cobham next season, and at just 21 years of age, Gallagher has the potential to develop into one of the world’s leading stars.
