Dennis Praet grabbed his first Torino goal as he reminded parent club Leicester City of his talent.
Dennis Praet said: “I’m happy to have scored, but above all for the victory. Sampdoria is always in my heart because I spent three years there, but today it was important to win. I’m the same player I was when I arrived in Italy and I want to help the team get to the top of the standings. I’m happy to play in this position, I’m more advanced and I can be more creative.”
Praet was not the only City loanee to score at the weekend, with Tyrese Shade also on target for League Two side Walsall.
