Although Man City fans may not like to admit it, it’s fair to say that Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah is playing as well as any player in world football right now.
Mohammed Salah said: “Last game maybe. I don’t know which one was better, this one or City! I don’t know I’m just trying. Sometimes I don’t have luck, I’m just trying to give 100 percent of what I have, sometimes, sometimes not. I am confident at the moment, I’m scoring goals helping team win points which is the most important thing. All goals were very important, Bobby [Firmino] did a great job today scored a hat-trick, congratulations to him, Sadio scored a good goal, all the goals were very important. The most important thing today is we scored good goals, everyone up front scored. Hopefully we can carry on like that.”
Two weeks ago, Salah scored the goal of the season so far when he was able to wriggle his way around three City defenders to score. And on Saturday afternoon, the Egyptian may very well have bettered that goal. The Egyptian was asked where his latest goal ranks among his best, and instantly compared today’s strike to his effort against City.
