Leeds’ Raphinha continued his dream debut international break with Brazil in the early hours of Friday morning, as he scored twice in his first start for his country. Speaking after the game, the Leeds winger discussed his dream of playing with Neymar.
Raphinha said: “Playing with Ney is very easy. I’m a big fan. I’m very inspired by him, in his way of playing, in his way of attacking his opponent. I see many videos of him. To be playing with him is a dream come true. I don’t think there is any way to explain the happiness I am feeling, this match with the goals and the victory couldn’t be more remarkable for me. I am fulfilling a childhood dream, not only of wearing the jersey of the Selecao, but also of representing the Selecao. Being able to help with goals is very gratifying.”
