Pep Guardiola has suggested that his time at Manchester City could come to an end in 2023 following the conclusion of his contract.

Pep Guardiola said: “[The] next step will be a national team, if there is a possibility. After seven years on this team, I think I’m going to have a stop. I’m going to have to take a break, see what we’ve done. And in the process, I would like to coach a South American (team), European, playing a Copa America, I want to have that experience.”

The 50-year-old joined the current Premier League Champions back in 2016, but has hinted that he would like a new challenge in the future, potentially in international management.
