Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele faces an uncertain future in north London with rumours circulating over his future at the club. The 24-year-old, who still has around four years left on his Spurs contract, has asked to leave the club, according to Sky Sports. Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo admitted he could not “convince players to play” for the club when asked about the Frenchman’s future.
NunoEspirito Santo said: “What happened in the past I can’t even think about, I don’t mention out of respect. What I can tell you is that Tanguy is with us, he works but we have to speak honestly and to take the best out of Tanguy [it] has to come from himself. I don’t want to go much further than that but it has to come from himself. We already had a chance to talk but it must come from himself. I said it before, my job here is not to convince players to play for Tottenham Hotspur, it is to prepare players to play for Tottenham Hotspur.”
Now, Sky Sports are reporting that Bayern Munich are interested in signing Ndombele before the transfer window closes later this month. The news outlet claims that the German champions are willing to include Corentin Tolisso in a player plus cash deal to sign Ndombele.
