Wolves striker Patrick Cutrone rejoined the club for pre-season following a loan spell at La Liga outfit Valencia last term. Despite not settling well into the club, fans have consistently sung his name, while showing some support along the way. Having worked with the Italian over the last few weeks, head-coach Bruno Lage has called on Cutrone to find his form ahead of the new Premier League campaign.

Bruno Lage said: “Even the game against Stoke, I said to Cutrone, you are here two years, every time on loan but the fans are singing your song, so you need to prove something on the pitch’ If you want to change something it’s not the change I give to you in training and in games, the people, you never play here and you have a song. They’re waiting for you – it’s true. Go there and show something for the people, that’s the job.”

Some reports have suggested that Lage does not consider the Italian youth international a part of his plans for the upcoming season, however, the situation remains quite fluid with the 45-year-old boss leaving the door open for the youngster to prove his worth in and around the squad if he wishes.
