A perfect 100% record in the month and vital wins against Leeds, Sheffield United and Aston Villa saw Kenny Dalglish’s side reach second in the table behind league leaders Manchester United. Dalglish’s side only conceded two goals in three matches and over took Aston Villa in the table.
