Valerien Ismael has revealed Matheus Pereira has insisted he is 100% focussed on West Brom after handing the winger an ultimatum amid links with Leeds United. The Brazilian playmaker has been touted with a move to Elland Road this summer following the Baggies’ relegation to the Championship.
Valerian Ismael said: “With Pereira – we spoke really openly about the situation. I don’t have a problem. We made it simple, you are in or you are out. But if you are in, you are 100 per cent. He said in training he would give 100 per cent and he is focused. I can’t say anything else.”
Pereira has three years left on his West Brom contract and the Baggies will only sanction a sale if a club meets their eight-figure valuation.
