Kiko Casilla has issued an emotional farewell message following his loan exit to Elche. The goalkeeper secured a return to Spain on Monday night when a season-long loan move to the La Liga side was completed, following a campaign which saw him turn out just five times.
Kiko Casilla said: ” [It] is not easy for me to take this difficult decision for this season. This club and supporters make me feel something different, just amazing. We had hard moments and at the same time we had unforgettable moments too, but we were always together.”
The former Real Madrid has signed off promising to support his side back in Spain during his upcoming loan spell.
Kiko Casilla added: “See you soon again! And of course I will support from Spain every match! We will have a brilliant season for sure! More than ever… #marchingontogether.”
