Harry Maguire has praised Chris Powell’s impact on the England team ahead of the Three Lions’ Euro 2020 final against Italy. Maguire, who was an injury doubt for the start of the tournament, has established himself as a key player for England in the knock-out stages of the competition.
Harry Maguire said: “Chris has been brilliant around the camp. I think he brings positive energy. I think in these camps when you are waiting in between games then you can do with that positive vibe and energy around the place. And he brings that. He’s been brilliant as a coach but also off the field as well. I have seen his goal celebrations, he is really enjoying it. But I think you all need to remember that we are all huge England fans, whether we are sat on the bench coaching or sat in the stand, we all want to win.”
