Pep Guardiola feels England are well covered for the next decade as Gareth Southgate’s squad prepare for their second semi-final in three years at Euro 2020. The Manchester City manager, who is currently holidaying in Spain, said in an interview with TV3 (via Mundo Deportivo ) that England are well covered in midfield and attack for the foreseeable future.
Pep Guardiola said: “I really like that the teams that dare more have gone further in the European Championship. Italy is an example and Spain too, they want to play from behind and I am immensely happy with Luis Enrique with what he is doing. Denmark play very well and England have immense talent from midfield up for the next ten years. We’ll see some big semi-finals and now it’s a big deal.”
A number of Pep Guardiola’s title-winning squad are playing a huge part in England’s success so far this summer, none more so than Raheem Sterling.
