Chelsea full-back Emerson is not interested in talking about a move away from Stamford Bridge right now. The 26-year-old has featured 70 times in all competitions for the Blues since arriving at the west London club from Roma in January 2018. There has been plenty of speculation over his future and it seems that the forgotten Blues man is beginning to get fed up with all of the talk.
Emerson Palmieri said: “For many months we have been talking about the market, about my return to Italy. Now I don’t even want to think about it. Really, I don’t care: I live in the present, play the European Championship and do everything to win it.”
The report claims the Blues are demanding £17.2million (€20m) for their full-back, a fee that the Milan outfit are refusing to pay at the moment. Napoli have also been credited with an interest in Emerson in the past but reports have Inter as the front-runners as it stands. Inter have just appointed a new manager – Simone Inzaghi – which may yet change their stance on Emerson again moving forward.
