Nuno Espirito Santo has revealed Raul Jimenez could be given clearance to play in Wolverhampton Wanderers’ final game of the season against Manchester United.
Nuno Espirito Santo said: “We are hopeful that this can happen. Raul has an exam and he’s seeing the specialist on the 18th of this month, so from then on we’ll know exactly what we have to do. He needs clearance from the specialist and this can happen on the 18th. Until then, he’s working and he’s totally fit. We still have precautions on him heading the ball and full contact, but like I say the 18th will be important going forward for us to make decisions.”
Wolves face Everton at Goodison Park on May 19 before hosting United at Molineux on May 23 in their final Premier League fixture. The game against United is set to be the first staged in front of supporters – 8,000 to be precise – at Molineux since last March and it could mark Jimenez’s return.
