On the injury front, West Bromwich Albion are still looking healthy – despite there being one or two fitness concerns recently. Robert Snodgrass, though, could be set for a small spell on the sidelines. He was conspicuous by his absence from the 20-man squad on Monday evening.
Sam Allardyce said: “Robert has had an epidural. It will probably be seven to 10 days before he is back in action. Kyle Bartley probably a slight calf strain. Ainsley had a kick on the ankle but he managed to finish the game off which is great. He wanted to fight and carry on. He showed a player that comes on loan can fight and have real affection for the club. Ainsley has shown that to us coming on loan from Arsenal.”
With Kieran Gibbs, who made the bench on Monday night, back in the reckoning too, the only other obvious injury absentee at the moment is Branislav Ivanovic; the Serb hobbled off at former club Chelsea last weekend and he is set for a spell on the sidelines after picking up a hamstring complaint.
