RALPH Hasenhuttl insisted “we are all responsible” for this evening’s 3-0 defeat at West Brom, describing his side’s display as “a non-performance”.
Asked to assess his team’s display
Ralph Hasenhuttl said: “It was a non-performance to be honest, because we missed everything what is normally part of our game. When you make it that easy for the opponent, then it’s not a surprise that you are 2-0 down, it is not always possible to turn things around every week, so we have to have a better start. This is what we missed today, definitely. In the second half we changed a few things in our behaviour, not with personnel, and it looked much better, but then it’s too late. Even today we didn’t score or take a penalty. So a whole day not in our way of what we want to see.”
Quizzed on why he feels his team were so far off the levels of West Brom in the first half,
Ralph Hasenhuttl added: “It’s difficult, definitely. We are all are responsible for performances like this. I think if somebody wants to see how it works, then they have to look at the first 25 minutes of the second half, but 25 minutes in a Premier League game doing what we need to do is not enough to get something. This is what we have to know, because otherwise we don’t win any game.”
