Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers insists he would have won the Premier League title with Liverpool back in 2014 if he had had his current defence at his disposal.
Brendan Rodgers said: “It was just one of those things that happen. For 70 minutes of that game, it was how we’d been for the rest of the season.”
The City boss also made a major claim regarding his current back line at the King Power Stadium.
Brendan Rodgers added: “With all due respect, if I had the back four I have here (at Leicester), we’d have won the league, no question.”
Rodgers currently has a defence made up of options including Ricardo Pereira, Wesley Fofana, Caglar Soyuncu, Jonny Evans, Timothy Castagne, Luke Thomas and Daniel Amartey.
