Aston Villa have confirmed that £22 million striker Wesley will step up his recovery once more this afternoon with a start against Wolves’ under-23s at Bodymoor Heath.
Dean Smith said: “He was only meant to play 30 minutes (vs WBA last week) but played 45 which tells you he’s in a better place than we expected. That was good for him and he’ll play another 45 minutes today as well.”
