Steve Bruce has confirmed Newcastle United’s Brazilian striker Joelinton is fit to face Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday night. The Magpies, who are currently 17th in the Premier League table, host Wolves at St James’ Park in Sky Sports’ late kick-off.
Steve Bruce said: “Joelinton is OK. Federico Fernández has trained all week but tomorrow still might be a bit too early for him. We have no new injuries.”
Steve Bruce added: “When the daffodils are up the crux of the season is upon us. We’ve still got a lead. But it seems Newcastle are the only ones in it. There are six or seven teams. Can we finish above the six or seven? That’s the aim. I’m quietly confident we can do that.”
