Jurgen Klopp has addressed rumours that he could leave Liverpool after their defeat to Leicester City.
Jurgen Klopp said: “Did I get sacked or did I leave by myself or what? I don’t need a break. The last thing I want to do is talk about private things in a press conference but, as everybody knows, privately we’ve had a tough time. But that is not only three weeks ago or whatever, it has been for a much longer time already. We always deal with it as a family, 100 percent. I’m 53 and I’ve worked in football for 30 years, as a coach for 20 years, so I can switch off. I don’t carry things around. If I’m private, I’m private, if I’m at my workplace, then I’m here. Of course, we are influenced by things that happen around (us) but nobody needs to worry about me or whatever. I might not look like this because the weather is not good and the beard gets more and more grey, and yes I don’t sleep a lot, but I’m full of energy. I don’t want to have this situation but we are now in it and we will sort it.”
The Foxes mauled Liverpool at the King Power on Saturday with James Maddison, Jamie Vardy and Harvey Barnes striking in the final 12 minutes to clinch a 3-1 win. Klopp was forced to admit Liverpool are out of the title race after the game and claims surfaced online that he could be set to leave Anfield over the weekend. Asked about the speculation on social media,
