SAINTS have been boosted by the return to fitness of Kyle Walker-Peters ahead of Thursday’s FA Cup clash at Wolves. Walker-Peters played a key role for Saints before a quad problem picked up in training last month ruled him out of the past four matches – which have all ended in defeat. But Ralph Hasenhuttl confirmed the 23-year-old is now ready to make his timely comeback as Saints seek a spot in the quarter-finals of the cup.
Ralph Hasenhuttl said: “Kyle-Walker Peters comes back and Mohammed Salisu is now able to play. This is good. We have still a few injured players like Ibra (Diallo) or Theo Walcott, Michael Obafemi and Will Smallbone. So we still have injured players, but it’s getting better now and that gives me more opportunities.”
Stuart Armstrong is also still set to be missing for the trip to Molineux due to injury, while Liverpool loanee Takumi Minamino is cup-tied having played for his parent club in the earlier rounds of the competition.
