Liverpool boss Graeme Souness admitted for the first time that he was under pressure but vowed to fight on and put it right at the Merseyside club. He also had a go at the media and suggested that the media was enjoying Liverpool’s failures.
Graeme Souness said “Yes, I’m under pressure. So are my coaching staff and the players, we all get paid handsomely for the job we do and this season we have not delivered. But we are not going to panic. I believe we will play ourselves out of this position. For 20 years, the media have written the same story about Liverpool, for them, it’s nice to write something different.”
