Oliver Norwood isn’t the only one scratching his head regarding Sheffield United’s season so far. The Blades’ form this season has been woeful. The club are yet to win a game of any kind this season. The last time they did achieve a win was against Chelsea last July. Since then they have played 21 competitive matches without so much as gaining a victory. The latest low point came in the Premier League loss at Crystal Palace last Saturday. The 2-0 defeat saw United go 12 points adrift at the bottom of the table. Norwood was quizzed in the immediate aftermath at Selhurst Park as to what the catalyst is for a change in fortunes.
Oliver Norwood said “If we knew that then we’d have done it already! We’re searching for answers. We’re working hard and trying our best. I really don’t know. It’s not as if we’re throwing the towel in and just going through the motions. It’s hurting and it’s up to us as players to affect that and keep going. We won’t give up but things need to change quickly. We’re going there to win, whatever team the gaffer decides to pick. We need a win just to give us that little bit of confidence and then hopefully we can kick on from that.”
