Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl immediately set his sights on another unbeaten run with Saints following Sunday’s 3-2 defeat to Manchester United. The St Mary’s side had gone seven games without losing before a double from Edinson Cavani and a goal from Bruno Fernandes scuppered their impeccable top-flight form. But the Austrian boss insisted he was “not scared” about his side losing their unbeaten tag and is determined to kick off another impressive sequence.
Ralph Hasenhuttl said “We had been seven games unbeaten – that’s a good run and now we want to start another one. We will keep on going and you can be sure from Thursday on, we start again to concentrate on the next run. There’s a team that is hungry and wants more. I’m not scared about losing for the first time in seven games. Let’s keep on going.”
