Slaven Bilic has reasoned that the shifting of West Brom’s fixture schedule suits him and his players just fine as they prepare for the visit of Burnley. While it may be an inconvenience of both time and money for supporters, Bilic has explained how the extra days of preparation have come in handy – and his players will continue to have a full week to prepare for each match until they welcome Tottenham to The Hawthorns before the November international break.
Slaven Bilic said “It’s helpful. To be fair, this week…these couple of days we’ve gained by not playing tomorrow but on Monday, it’s good because we’ve a few more days to train”
Albion play at 17:30 on Monday evening each week for the next three weeks after the Premier League decided to hide certain matches behind a pay-wall and chose the Baggies’ meetings with the Clarets, Brighton and Fulham among those fixtures.
