Scott Wood said: “The entire trip was just me and my dad. It was the trip of a lifetime. It’s not just the game I’ll always remember. That city holds such a special place in all of our hearts now.” He added, “As for THAT goal by Emi…it will go down in my mind as the greatest goal I’ve ever seen in the flesh. Youri’s goal was special too. It’ll go down in history.”
Scott Wood continued: “It needs its own banner in the new North Stand to sit alongside the ‘Peter Withe, It Must Be, It Is!’ banner. Can’t wait for the next tattoo session, and for next year when I’ll get my left leg done with the European Cup.”
