I often act on instinct, but some things just take practice. There used to be situations I wanted to anticipate, but sometimes I started too early, and sometimes too late. It’s slowly getting better. That’s especially key against fast and skilful strikers. If I know I can’t catch my opponent, it can sometimes help if I take a step forward so he’s offside.”
Vuskovic’s knee injury is reportedly more severe than initially thought, according to German media outlet Bild. This setback has prevented the young Croatian defender from engaging in any individual rehabilitation work on the grass. Despite this, Vuskovic remains determined to address his lack of pace and acceleration, which he acknowledges as areas for improvement. His commitment to enhancing his speed and timing is evident as he trains with a private coach to refine these skills.
