Jose Mourinho believes Tanguy Ndombele deserves all the credit for his transformation this season and that he realised his Tottenham Hotspur career was going in the wrong direction. Mourinho was left delighted with the performance of a gifted player now adding work rate to his talent. The Frenchman had a very difficult start when Jose Mourinho came in at the club and there were even rumours of him leaving the North London club just a year after being the most expensive signing to have come in the club. But now it seems as if fortunes have changed for the midfielder and he is in the good books of the manager.
Jose Mourinho said “I’m very happy. I say all the time, when a player improves it’s a player’s responsibility, it’s the player’s credit, it’s not the coach who makes the miracle, The player that does that by himself, to understand what he has to understand and go in the right direction that he has to go.”
