Morgan Jones, a 23-year-old striker for CPD Llannefydd, tragically passed away last week, leaving a profound impact on his club and the wider football community in north Wales. His untimely death has prompted an outpouring of tributes from various football clubs and individuals who admired his talent and character.
CPD Llannefydd said: “We are deeply saddened to share the devastating news that CPD Llannefydd striker Morgan Jones tragically lost his life last week, aged 23. Morgan was a valued teammate and a much-loved member of our club. He will be sorely missed. He was a great person who always gave 100% to the cause and will always be a part of the CPD Llannefydd family. Our thoughts are with Bryn, Mel, Brad and the rest of his family, as well as friends and all who knew him. Rest in peace, Morgan.”
NFA said: “Our thoughts and prayers from everyone at the club are with Morgan’s family and friends and all at CPD Llannefydd FC football club. Morgan spent time at the club in our earlier days. He was always a pleasure to have with us, a lovely lad gone too soon.”
