Michy Batshuayi has said he feels like he is home after sealing a loan move to Crystal Palace. The Chelsea striker extended his current contract at Stamford Bridge for a further 12 months, which will now expire in 2022. It is the striker’s second loan spell at Selhurst Park following his six-month deal in January 2019, when he scored six goals in 13 appearances for the Eagles.
Batshuayi was a popular figure with Palace fans, and will no doubt ingratiate himself further with his latest comments after committing his short-term future to the club.
