West Ham United’s Mark Noble has moved to voice his anger at his club’s decision to sell Grady Diangana to West Bromwich Albion. Diangana spent last season on loan at Albion, and has now completed an £18 million move to the Hawthorns to the delight of Baggies fans. The 22-year-old international was instrumental in Slaven Bilic’s quest to guide West Brom to promotion last season, and Noble is certainly not happy with the Hammer’s decision to sell Diangana. The Club was quick to respond and confirmed that the money received from the sale will be used to reinvest in the squad.
Mark Noble said ”As captain of this football club I’m gutted, angry and sad that Grady has left, great kid with a great future!
West Ham said ‘The decision to sell Grady has been made reluctantly but – ultimately – in the best interests of the Club and with the aim to strengthen the squad in different areas at this time,’ The money received for Grady will be reinvested entirely in the team, in line with the manager’s targets. We believe that this will give us the best possible chance of ensuring we have a balanced squad to compete in the Premier League and capable of reaching our objectives and ambitions this season.”
