Thomas Frank Backs Manchester City and considers Guardiola as best coach in the world

Thomas Frank

Thomas Frank, a seasoned manager in the Premier League, expressed his support for Manchester City despite their current challenges in the league. City, trailing leaders Liverpool by 12 points and sitting two points outside the top four, have experienced a dip in form this season. Frank, however, praised the team’s past achievements and expressed confidence in their ability to bounce back.

Thomas Frank said, “I think Manchester City is a fantastic team with a fantastic coach and fantastic players. I don’t think it’s a surprise for Pep that they’ve had a dip. It’s impossible, especially in the best league in the world. What they’ve done for the last four years shouldn’t be possible, it’s hugely impressive and he will go again.”

Frank also shared his admiration for Pep Guardiola, Manchester City’s esteemed coach, highlighting his exceptional coaching skills and the impact he has had on the team.

Frank continued, “Guardiola is, for me, the best coach in the world.”

In addition to his comments on Manchester City, Frank provided an update on his own squad’s fitness, particularly focusing on Rico, one of their standout players, and Ben Mee.

Frank said, “Rico is available again for the squad and Ben Mee is ready, which is positive news. I’m very, very pleased that Rico is back. He’s been one of our best players in the four years in the Premier League. It will take a little bit of time before we see him fully firing. That’s not me saying he can’t start or play a Premier League game, but consistent high performances will take a little bit of time to build. But he will be involved in the squad tomorrow and it’s up to me to find out how much I can use him.”

Frank’s comments reflect a deep respect for Manchester City’s achievements and a positive outlook for his own team’s future, as they prepare to reintegrate key players back into the squad. His insights provide a balanced perspective on the challenges and opportunities faced by Premier League teams this season.
