Lewis Hall spoke about Newcastle’s need for consistency to succeed in their current football season. The team’s inconsistency was something that Eddie Howe had questioned, and players recognized the necessity to make changes to mount a successful European campaign and potentially win silverware.
Lewis Hall said, “I think it epitomises our season really. We’ve had a lot of games where we have been good in one half or good for 30 minutes then a bit off it for 30 minutes, I think we have looked at that. We need the consistency and know we need to be at it for the full 90 minutes.”
Hall also talked about the passionate Newcastle fanbase and how their love for the club motivated the players as they prepared for the match against Brentford in the Carabao Cup quarter-final. He emphasized the team’s drive to win a trophy to bring joy to the city.
Lewis Hall said, “For sure and I don’t think it needs the cup game to necessarily talk about how much our fans love the club. For us as players we look to work hard. And I think we have the talent to win a trophy so we look to do that and make the whole city happy.”
