Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca explains Romio Latvia substitution and tactical changes (after comeback win against Spurs)

Enzo Maresca spoke about the substitutions and their reasons during the match against Tottenham Hotspur and addressed concerns regarding Romeo Lavia’s injury.

Enzo Maresca said “First of all we had a problem with Romeo Lavia. That meant Malo Gusto came on and we moved Moi [Caicedo] and changed the attacking midfielder. The changes were good. We don’t want to take risks in December.”

Enzo Maresca reflected on his team’s overall performance in the match, expressing contentment despite challenges faced during it.

Enzo Maresca said “We conceded two goals from Cucu [slipping] and a couple more chances from the wrong build-up. It’s the perfect win probably because of this. After the game, my message to the players is to be focused in the day by day, our sessions, the next game on Thursday and then Sunday.”
