Daniel Campos, Miguel Almiron’s agent, spoke out during the international break about Almiron’s dissatisfaction with his playing time at Newcastle.
Daniel Campos said “Although Miguel is not happy with the minutes he has in England, he wants to stay and fight for his place at Newcastle.”
Daniel Campos also discussed Newcastle’s decision to reject a transfer offer from Charlotte FC in MLS, noting the bid was insufficient and highlighting Eddie Howe’s support for Almiron’s stay at the club.
Daniel Campos said “The coach (Eddie Howe) always supported him. When he made a request, he asked him not to leave. We had arranged a contract with them, but the club rejected the proposal from the United States.”
