As part of his recovery process, Yoro underwent surgery in August to address an issue, aiming to return to full fitness by November. This return is critical as he looks to support United’s campaigns in both the Premier League and the Champions League. Last month, Erik ten Hag, the manager, was asked about the progress of United’s summer signing and he expressed optimism regarding Yoro’s recovery.
Erik ten Hag said, “Yes, he is doing very well. It is very pleasing that his rehab is going in the right direction and I expect him soon. But what I mean by soon, is that he is now in the right planning process. And yeah, then injuries are not avoidable. But of course, we have to be ready as a club and as a team to cover this and the players are dealing very well with this setback.”
