Aston Villa manager Unai Emery has revealed Tyrone Mings and Boubacar Kamara are now in full training every day as they both close in on a return to action. The big Belgian has also scored three goals in as many away appearances at the start of this season.
Unai Emery said “Mings and Kamara are now training consistently with the team. They started this week and this is good news. Amadou Onana – with Barkley, with Tielemans, with Kamara – he is going to try to get stronger in our structure and in our tactical idea in the team. His quality is to wish to learn quickly and adapt quickly.”
Asked if he had been expecting Onana to chip in with goals so soon after joining,
Unai Emery responded: “He is important in everything. We missed Tyrone Mings from set-pieces last year offensively and defensively. A player who is that tall is important and Onana has added that. He can add goals as well when he is getting in the box, attacking and trying to be in good balance on the pitch. He can push to get in the box as well.”
After beating BSC Young Boys on Tuesday night, Villa return to Premier League duties on Saturday as Emery’s side host Wolves at Villa Park.
