Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has thanked the Leicester City supporters for the support during his debut season at the King Power Stadium. The midfielder broke into Brendan Rodgers’ first team last season. The academy graduate’s eye-catching performances earned him the Players’ Player and Young Player of the Season awards in May.
Kieran Dewsbury-Hall said: “The 2021/22 season will be one I never forget. Making my first debut and scoring my first senior goal for Leicester were magical moments. I’ve had a taste of Premier League football now, and just want to experience more of it and keep growing and improving as a player and as a team. I’m looking forward to the opening day and the challenge Brentford will pose. We’ll be fully prepared and will expect a tough game, but I’m just really eager for that first whistle now and can’t wait to get going again in the Premier League.”
City kick-off the season with difficult fixtures against Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United, providing Dewsbury-Hall and his team-mates a challenging start to next season, but the midfielder is confident in the Foxes’ ability to start how they finished the 2021/22 season.
Kieran Dewsbury-Hall added: “Looking at our opening few fixtures, they are all going to be tough, with games against Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea in there, but those are they matches you want to play in and I’m so excited to see what this team can do against those teams. I’d also like to thank the supporters for the love they’ve shown me over the past 12 months or so. It’s been an incredible year, and I just want to kick-on now and help bring more success to this Club.”
