Jarrod Bowen has heaped praise on his “incredible” West Ham team-mate Felipe Anderson. The 23-year-old has been getting to know his new team-mates in recent months, since joining the Hammers from Hull City in January. Bowen has made four appearances since his arrival in east London, scoring once in the Hammers’ 3-1 victory against Southampton in February. But he has been impressed by the quality among the West Ham squad since joining the club, with one player in particular earning praise from the forward.
Jarrod Bowen said: “When I first came to training, Felipe Anderson, the skills he has got, are incredible. I think he was injured when I first came, but when he came back in training, the stuff he does, he is so calm about it and just makes it look so easy. He nutmegs everyone, luckily I am on his team for small-sided games usually, because he just nutmegs everyone and I don’t know how he does it. There are good players, but he has got to be up there with the best.”
Anderson has made 25 appearances for West Ham this season, scoring one goal. In his first season at the club, Anderson scored ten goals in 41 appearances, following his move from Lazio in the summer of 2018.
