Bruno Lage has tasked Wolverhampton Wanderersâ transfer team with replacing Romain Saiss. Saiss has been offered fresh terms at Molineux after an impressive season under Lage, but the Morocco captain hasnât been able to agree a new contract. Bruno Lage said: âI really donât know. I know they are talking and the club has offered a proposal. Saiss is very happy in the club and likes working with us. His family likes it here, but in the end they need to find an agreement.â
Lage had already tasked Wolves with signing a new centre-back and Saissâs exit means chairman Jeff Shi and technical director Scott Sellars may need to find two. When we watch him doing a great season; scoring three goals, he is the defender who plays forward more.
