Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold has earned admiration from Barcelona legend Dani Alves. The Reds right-back has become a key player for the club since breaking into the first-team as a teenager. Now at the age of 23, he is once again leading the way in terms of assists in the Premier League. Alves, who returned to Barcelona in November, has explained why he is an admirer of the Liverpool defender. The 38-year-old went on to name two other right-backs he enjoys watching, and why Alexander-Arnold is “world class”.
Daniel Alves said: “I admire Trent Alexander-Arnold very much. He’s a fantastic footballer – this guy has got world-class skills. I also like to watch Reece James and Achraf Hakimi. They mix strength with technique and are also great players. The three of them obviously have different characteristics and styles – but they all know how to do the job.”
