Hugo Lloris has explained that repetition on the training ground has led to Tottenham creating more chances for Harry Kane to gobble up. Spurs began the season under Nuno Espirito Santo struggling to get shots on goal and get the ball to the 28-year-old striker.
Hugo Lloris said: “It is difficult to explain. The doors are closed at the training ground and you can not see the way we train. The repetition of movements help the team to create chances and obviously Harry is a huge player for us. We all know his importance and probably when he is at his best, he gives more chances for the team to win, but again, it is not only about Harry, it is about everyone to keep improving individually and also for the team, and to push, to push every day and be ready to face all the teams we will face. It is as simple as that. Harry, after years and years, has a big influence on the scoresheet for us.”
Tottenham are battling against north London rivals Arsenal as well as Manchester United, West Ham and Wolves for the final fourth place spot. Lloris believes that the players will get what they deserve at the end of the campaign.
Hugo Lloris said: “With a lot of ‘ifs’ we could do a lot of things better. I want to stay realistic and the only way is to go game by game and be focused on the present and then we will see what we deserve at the end of the season but the most important thing is to keep our chances alive and to finish the season strong is a good way to start the next one. We need to take into consideration this is a process and to adapt to the manager and for the manager to know his player and step by step we will work out and improve.”
