Manchester United are in a battle for a top four spot with Arsenal this season with the campaign now in its final few months. United picked up a crucial three points on Tuesday evening as they saw off Brighton & Hove Albion at Old Trafford. Ralf Rangnick’s side are now on 43 points in fourth-place, two above West Ham United and four clear of Arsenal in sixth. Rumours over a divide in the United camp have been prominent for over a month now, but they have always been denied – with Rangnick playing down the speculation at the start of January.
For Arsenal, talk of a rift in camp at Old Trafford might be a positive thing for them. The Gunners will be looking to close the gap to the Red Devils on Saturday afternoon as they welcome Brentford to the Emirates Stadium, while United travel to Leeds United less than 24 hours after.
