Leeds United winger Raphinha has refused to be drawn into discussing his contractual situation at the club amid ongoing speculation surrounding his future. As links with some of Europe’s biggest clubs continue to mount, Leeds are eager to tie him down to a long-term deal. But in an interview with BBC West Yorkshire Sport, Raphinha remained coy on contract talks, claiming his only current focus is performing well on the pitch.
Raphinha said: “I’ve got a contract until 2024. My head is totally here focused on Leeds. As for contractual matters, I leave them to my agent and my Dad. I’m just focused on playing football, making Leeds fans happy, scoring goals, providing assists and getting victories for the team. The contractual matters are for my agent, my focus is on making people happy with my football and doing as best as I can for Leeds.”
