Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma was heavily linked with a move away from the Amex during the January transfer window, with Aston Villa and Manchester United said to be interested. Back in September, after his future at Brighton was first cast into doubt in the summer of 2021, he admitted that is was his dream to play for a Champions League team.
Yves Bissouma said:”I didn’t go this summer, maybe it’s because it’s not my time to go. When my time will come, it’s my time, but I’m happy in Brighton, I’m enjoying playing football. My dream is like every player, I want to play in the Champions League, I want to be champions. I want to compare myself on the top level, not just with other players.”
